Tom Ward, who was one of the old settlers of this county (Clark),
died at his home near Christie last Friday, Dec. 21, 1894, at the
age of 60 years. He was born in New York State and came here in
1868.
His death was caused by the bursting of a blood vessel in his head brought on by an epileptic fit to which he was subject. His funeral was held Saturday at Christie, and the remains were interred in the cemetery at that place, Rev. Foster officiating.
