CARL NEVERMAN
Carl Neverman died at his home in this city, Friday morning, July 30, 1897, of paralysis, at the age of 57 years.
He was born in Mechlenburg, Germany in 1840, came to this country
in 1867, and settle in Neillsville, Clark County when it was pretty
much a wilderness.
The funeral services were held in the Presbyterian Church, Sunday
afternoon. Rev. T. C. Hill preached the sermon to a large
congregation assembled to pay their respects to one who was well
known and respected. He was a member of the Woodmen's Society and
was buried in the Neillsville cemetery with Woodmen's honors.
He leaves a wife, three daughters, one son and two grandchildren,
besides a large number of other relatives to mourn his
loss.
