MRS. ARNOLD BEYER (1893-1969)
GREENWOOD--Funeral services will be held at 2
p.m. Tuesday at Zion United Church of Christ for Mrs. Arnold Beyer,
76, of Greenwood, Clark County, who died at 8:07 a.m. Saturday,
Dec. 20, 1969 at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital.
The Rev. David Logue, pastor, will officiate and burial will be
made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hill
Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church.
The former Fern C. Sloniker was born Oct. 4, 1893, in Hillsboro,
Wis., and received her education in Greenwood. She also attended
Wisconsin State University Oshkosh and taught school for several
years.
She was married June 11, 1914, AT Greenwood to Arnold Beyer, who
preceded her in death July 6, 1967. The couple lived at Greenwood
for many years, at Alma Center for 12 years, and at Marshfield for
three years. Since April of this year she had lived at the
Neillsville Memorial Home. She was a member of the Zion United
Church and also the Women's Guild.
Survivors include two sister, Mrs. Elmer (Floy) Horn, Chili Mrs.
Oscar (Zula) Miller, Greenwood and a brother, Ross Sloniker,
Greenwood.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers.
