ROBERT BIELKE DIES THURSDAY
SERVICES SUNDAY FOR GREENWOOD RESIDENT.

Greenwood--Robert Bielke, 78, a resident of Greenwood his entire life, died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Humke, where he had made his home the past 22 years. He had suffered from a heart ailment for several years.

Funeral services will be held at the Stabnow Funeral Home, Greenwood, at 2 p.m. Sunday, which would have been his 79th birthday. Reinhold Ulrich, a student from the Mission House, who is at the West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church this summer, will officiate and burial will be made in the West Side cemetery.

The body will repose at the funeral home from Saturday afternoon to the time of services.

Mr. Bielke was born Aug. 12, 1872, son of the later August Bielke and his wife, the former Auguste Roloff, on a farm 6 miles northwest of Greenwood. In his early life, he was employed as a carpenter. Later, he and his brothers operated the home farm until the death of Leopold in 1928. Since that time, he had been with the Humke's. The deceased was unmarried.

He is survived by a brother, Albert, Greenwood, and a brother, Richard, and a sister, Ida--addresses unknown.

His parents and a brother, Leopold, preceded him in death.
