MRS. PAUL BRANDT (1905-1971)
LOYAL
Mrs. Paul (Bertha) Brandt, 66, Loyal, Clark County, died at 11 a.m.
Monday, Sept 20, 1971 at her home, following a lingering
illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United
Methodist Church in Loyal with the Rev. Gene Carlson, pastor,
officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood cemetery,
Greenwood.
Visitations may be made at the Roycraft Funeral Home here beginning
Wednesday noon.
The former Bertha Severson was born Feb. 10, 1905, in Greenwood,
and received her education there. She was married Oct. 10, 1928, to
Paul Brandt, in Greenwood.
The couple operated a farm in the town of Beaver, near Loyal, until
1948, when they moved to Stratford. In 1950 they went to Racine and
four years ago they moved to Spencer. In 1969 they came back to
Loyal where they retired.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Loyal.
Survivors include her husband a son, John Brandt, Unity a daughter,
Mrs. Leonard (Darlene) Nelson, Racine a foster daughter, Miss Debra
Severson, Racine a brother, Hugh Severson, Greenwood and six
sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Marion) Ozanich, Mrs. Abe (Grace) Luntz, Mrs.
Leida Kurtzheim, and Miss Anna Severson, all of Milwaukee and Mrs.
Ernt (Dorothy) Molle, and Mrs. Lester (Gertrude) Schuette, both of
Unity.
