Melvin Bremer Jr. (1936-1999)
Former Medford resident Melvin L. "Tim" Bremer Jr., 62, Sumpter,
Ore., died August 10. A family memorial service will be held at 11
a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Medford Evergreen Cemetery.
Gray-West and Company Funeral Home in Baker City, Ore., assisted
the family with arrangements.
Melvin Bremer Jr. was born December 23, 1936 in Abbotsford, Clark
County, WI, to the late Melvin and Leila (Weimer) Bremer. He
attended Medford Area Public Schools. He served in the US Armed
Forces with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC, and
during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Betty Crocker Company in
Illinois before moving to Oregon, where he worked with the US
Forest Service until retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Jody two sons, Mark and John a
brother, Ronald M. (Marlene) of Medford two sisters, Mae (Gene)
Ridderbush of Colby, Clark County, WI, and Avis (Bob) Lebiecki of
Onalaska and one granddaughter.
