MAUDE BROWN DIES OF PNEUMONIA (1909 - 1924)
From the Greenwood Gleaner and from the scrapbook of Mrs. Andrews,
former librarian of The Greenwood Public Library, Greenwood,
Wisconsin (Clark County).
Miss Maude Brown, the fifteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Bert Brown died at her home early Tuesday morning of pneumonia
after an illness of short duration.
Maude was a lovely girl and her death came as a sudden shock to her
parents, relatives and friends. She was a sophomore in the local
high school and was a very bright child.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at two o'clock. The
body will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.
An obituary will be written in next weeks issue of the
Gleaner.
