FUNERAL TODAY FOR GEORGE L. BUKER


Greenwood - Funeral services for George L. Buker, 58, who died as the result of a stroke early Monday morning, Nov. 10, 1936 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the West Side Reformed church. Brief rites at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. August Reheinhardt, preceded those at the church. The Rev. P. H. Franzmeier officiated, and burial took place in the West Side cemetery.


Mr. Buker was born on Jan. 20, 1878, in the town of Warner, and was married to Louise Poppe on Nov. 18, 1903. She survives him, as do the following children: Theodore, Owen Walter, Irvin and Mrs August (Elsie) Rheinhardt, Greenwood and Irma, Owen.


Three grandchildren, two brothers, Edward Buker and Fred Buker, Greenwood and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Decker, Greenwood and Mrs. John Steiger, Lewistown, Id., also survive him.
