Burzynski, Regina (1920 - 1999)

Regina T. Burzynski, 79, Thorp, died at 8:30 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 1999 at Oakbrook Manor, Thorp, WI.

Regina was born July 2, 1920 in Thorp, WI to Frank and Anna (Siemeniek) Sawczuk. She was married in June of 1960 to Andrew Burzynski in Chicago, IL. They lived in Franklin Park, IL for 30 years. In 1995, they moved to Thorp and have resided here since. She was a member of St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Parish Council of Catholic Women.

Surviving are her husband Andrew Burzynski of Thorp two children: Lawrence (Susan) Burzynski of Florisant, MO, Gerri Piotrowski of Chicago, IL 2 grandchildren two brothers: John Sawczuk of Thorp, Edward Sawczuk of St. Paul, MN and one sister Frances (Jack) Burke, of Spencer, WI.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 5, 1999, 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp with Rev. John Puerner officiating. Burial will be in Chapel of Hope Mausoleum, Chippewa Falls, WI. Visitation was from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Thorp Funeral Home with a 7:30 p.m. Rosary.
