Czubakowski, Steven (1910 - 1999)
Steven Czubakowski, 89, Thorp, WI, died Monday, August 23,
1999 at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation, Chippewa Falls.
Steve was born January 23, 1910 in Pennsylvania to Steve and
Josephine (Sluzewski) Czubakowski. He married Ann Majkowicz,
December 11, 1937 in Chicago, IL. They moved to a farm in the Town
of Withee in 1948 from Chicago, IL. He worked from 1966 to 1987 at
Thorp Flour Feed in Thorp when he retired. He has been at Lakeside
Nursing and Rehabiliation, Chippewa Falls for the past 5 years.
Surviving are his wife Ann Czubakowski of Thorp Children: Richard
Czubakowski of Thorp, WI, Ronald (Theresa) Czubakowski of Eau
Claire, WI, Larry (Kathy) Czubakowski of Sussex, WI, Eugene
(Brenda) Czubakowski of Thorp, WI, Jerry (Lori) Czubakowski of
Stanley, WI, Diane (Jeff) Fryza of Lublin, WI and Darlene (Keith)
Accola of Mondovi, WI 17 grandchildren: Jennifer, Tommy, Tammy,
Tracey, Todd, Melinda, Miranda, Zachary, Jerieme, Jessica,
Nicholas, and Jennifer Hartzel, Ryan, Megan, Joshua, Brianne and
Jason Brothers: Ed of Denton, TX, Felix and Malen of Des Plaines,
IL Sisters: Violet Virgo, Lucille Pitlock, Wanda Lipinski, all of
Chicago, IL and Lillian Gasecki of Owen, WI. He was preceded in
death by his parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26, 1999, 10:00 a.m.
at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, Lublin, WI with Rev.
John Kutek officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Polish
National Catholic Cemetery, Lublin. Visitation was at Thorp Funeral
Home Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
