Corwin Dallmann (1926-2000)
Corwin "Corky" Clifford Dallmann, 73, Unity, Clark County, WI died
Monday, Jan. 10 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15 at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity with Rev. John Clasen
officiating.
Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Unity.
Pallbearers will be Brian Dallmann, Greg Dallmann, Dennis Bloom,
Ken Johnson, Robert Ayer, Doug Ayer, Donald Gipp, and Edward Funk.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Schultz, Norm Reineking, Woody
Tessemer, and Vern Loos.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14 at the
Community Funeral Home in Colby, and on Saturday morning at the
church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home of Rib Lake and Medford assisted the
family with arrangements.
Corwin Dallmann was born July 20, 1926 at Riplinger to the late
Theodore and Hertha (Freyholtz) Dallmann. He attended Riplinger
Grade School and was a 1944 graduate of Unity High School.
His marriage to the former Verna Johnson, who survives, took place
on April 17, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church. He was involved in
banking for 52 years and had been Executive Vice President at
Security State Bank in Colby, which is now known as Mid-Wisconsin
Bank.
He was a past member of the Trinity Lutheran Church board, the
Unity Village Board, the Unity fire department, and the board of
directors for Security State Bank and Mid-Wisconsin Bank. He
enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time at his
cabin.
In addition to his wife, survivors include, one son, James (Karon),
Rib Lake one daughter, Kathy (Kurt) Mertens, Colby four
grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one
brother, Dennis.
