JEFF DARGE, JR. (1978-1992)

Funeral services were held Friday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood, for Jeff A. Darge, Jr., 13, Pineview Terrace, Greenwood. He died Tuesday, July 14, 1992 at 3:08 p.m. in Greenwood, Clark County.

Rev. John Tschudy officiated at the service, with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Todd Krasselt, Dwight Trinkler, Juntin Hinker, Chet Rybski, Larry Downey, Walter Backus and Daryn Horn.

Jeff A. Darge, Jr., was born Oct. 14, 1978 in Marshfield. He had finished 7th grade at Greenwood Elementary School, where he had served on the Student Council. Jeff was active in sports, playing Babe Ruther, softball and basketball, and was a manager on the high school football team. He also delivered the Milwaukee Sentinel and Journal.

He is survived by his parents, Jeff A., Sr., and Sally (Downey) Darge, of Greenwood, and one sister, Janie, at home his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Darge, Spencer and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Downey, Owen. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Darge.
