Bernard A. Decker (1918 - 1999)
Bernard A. Decker, 81, Oconomowoc, died
Saturday, Oct. 9 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Funeral services
were held on Thursday, Oct. 14 at Krause Funeral Home in
Milwaukee.
Maurina Funeral Services of Abbotsford assisted the family with
arrangements.
Bernard Decker was born May 18, 1918 in Abbotsford to the late
George and Clara (Stroota) Decker. He attended St. Louis Catholic
Grade School and Dorchester High School. He was in insurance sales
before entering the US Air Corps during WWII, serving as a flyer in
India. With an honorable discharge, he continued in the insurance
business. He was also an avid golfer.
Survivors include one son, Pat (Jan) of Greendale a sister,
Roselind "Roz" Didier of Dorchester, Clark County, WI and one
grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,
Doris three brothers, Delbert "Del", Myron "Mike" and Oscar and two
sisters, Margaret "Peg" Thurlwell and Dolores Zylka.
