Frances Dobrzynski, 90, Thorp, WI, died Saturday, May 1, 1999 at Continental Manor, Abbotsford, WI.

Frances was born December 6, 1908 in Thorp, WI to Karl and Frances (Mocadlo) Strzok. She was united in marriage June 4, 1933 to Andrew Dobrzynski at St. Hedwig's Church, Thorp. They lived and farmed in the Town of Withee until 1970.

For the past 29 years they have been residents of Thorp, the last 5 years at the Morgan Plaza. She was treasurer of the Thorp Nutrition Center for a number of years and a member of the Rosary Society of St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Church.

Surviving are her husband Andrew of Thorp one son Don (Virginia) Dobrzynski of Brainerd, MN one daughter Kathy (Richard) Stier of Muskego, WI 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son Dave, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, 1999 at St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp with Rev. John Puerner officiating. Burial was in St. Hedwig's Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers. Visitation was at the Thorp Funeral Home, Tuesday evening.
