Dobrzynski, Marie (1931 - 1998)

Marie Dobrzynski, 86, Owen, WI (formerly of Thorp) died Tuesday, December 29, 1998 at her home.

Marie was born September 7, 1912 in the Town of Withee, Rural Thorp, to Anton and Stella (Golomoski) Rataiczyk. She married Wallace Dobrzynski, June 3, 1931 in Thorp. They lived and farmed in the Town of Withee until 1972, then moved to Withee until 1980, when she became a resident of Owen.

Surviving are three sons: Jim (Sandy) Dobrzynski of Cadott, Ben (Steph) Dobrzynski of Thorp, Rich (Jan) Dobrzynski of Holcombe; 8 Grandchildren and 14 great Grandchildren and two sisters: Viola Rataiczyk of Owen and Helen Mateja of Mt. Prospect, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Edward, three Grandchildren and one brother Tony.

A Memorial service was held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 1999 at St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp with Rev. John Puerner officiating. Visitation was one hour before the service at the church. Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
