Peter Dubiak (1911-2000)
Peter Dubiak, 88, Lublin, died Sunday, March
12 at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15 at
Holy Assumption Orthodox Church in Lublin, with Rev. Ted Wojcik
officiating. Burial took place at Holy Assumption Orthodox Cemetery
in Lublin.
Visitation was held from 4-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Thorp Funeral
Home, with a Panikhida at 7:30 p.m.
Peter Dubiak was born on July 6, 1911 at Lublin to the late Samuel
and Eva (Kodalek) Dubiak.
He lived most of his lifetime in the Lublin area. He operated his
own auto body repair shop for over 40 years.
Survivors include, five brothers, Frank (Helen), Lublin, Joe
(Arlene), Gilman, George (Edna), Franksville, Harry, Buffalo Grove,
Ill., and Steve (Ann), Streamwood, Ill. and five sisters, Ann
Doerfler, Weehawken, N.J., Pauline (Edward) Zaremba, Arcadia,
Calif., Ella (Samuel) Klisch, and Olga (Lowell) Berg, both of
Tucson, Ariz., and Mary Wasylko, Missoula, Mont.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister,
Helen Stanko.
