John DUDEI
Born in Schleusingen, Germany, June nine, 1862, to August and Dora (WORCHEL)DUDEI,

In 1893, Mr. DUDEI purchased a tract of land in the town of Seif where he and

years of toil and sacrifice.
In 1918, Mr. and Mrs. DUDEI moved to Neillsville, purchasing a home in the north
side. Mr. DUDEI worked for the city as long as he was able. Several years ago he
suffered a broken hip in a fall, from which he never completely recovered. About
a month ago he became ill with a heart ailment, later being taken to the
Neillsville hospital where he passed away at 11:40 p.m. October 17, 1941 at the
age of 79.
Funeral services were held Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rev. William A.
Baumann officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.

HETZEL, West Bend Emma, Mrs. Joe FELSER, Neillsville Laura, Mrs. Otto STEINBERG,
Fairchild Ida, Mrs. Carl RADTKE, Neillsville and Ella, Mrs. John SCHWICHTENBERG,

preceded him in death. He also leaves a brother, Bruno, Grant, and a sister,
