Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran Church at Loyal for Mrs. William Deuermeyer, 44, who died Thursday at her home in the Town of Beaver, Clark County. The Rev. L. H. Leschensky, pastor of the congregation, officiated. Burial was made in the Union Cemetery. The pallbearers were Peter Johnson, Emil Luther, Max Voss, Albert Schilling, William Rossow and Ernest Schoettler.

A large number of friends gathered in the church to pay farewell respects to the deceased and many beautiful floral tributes to her memory were in evidence. They were cared for by Mrs. Emil Luther, Mrs. Albert Schilling, Mrs. C. S. Wehrman and Mrs. John Brandt.

The deceased, whose maiden name was Sophia Lucht, was born July 27, 1884 at Braddock, Pa., and came to Wisconsin with her parents five years later. She was married July 5, to William Deuermeyer, at Loyal, and the young couple left shortly afterward for Park Falls, where they made their home for a number of years. Later they lived at Spokeville, after which they moved to their home in the Town of Beaver.

She is survived by her husband and her parents, besides four sisters and three brothers. They are Mrs. Alvina Oestriech and Mrs. Theresa Fischer of the Town of Sherman, Mrs. Lizzie Voight of Loyal, Mrs. Martha Zuchlke of Oshkosh, Carl Lucht of Loyal, Arthur of Spokeville and William of Hixton.
