ESTHER DUSSO (1893-1993)

Esther O. Dusso, 100, a former Greenwood, Clark County resident, died Friday, May 28, 1993, at Memorial Medical Center, Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 1993, at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood. Rev. John Tschudy officiated. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Esther O. Jolivette was born Feb. 9, 1893, in La Crosse, to Isadore and Mria (nee Peterson) Jolivette. She received her education in La Crosse. She worked on a farm until her marriage. She married Lexton M. Dusso May 27, 1913, in La Crosse. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1971. They moved to Greenwood in 1919 and farmed until 1943. They then moved into town until 1952, when they moved to Fox Lake. In 1958 they returned to Greenwood. Esther spent the last 11 years in Neillsville. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Ralph Dusso, Appleton 25 grandchildren 22 great-grandchildren and one sister, Stella Frank, Neillsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband her parents two sons, Lorris and Donal one grandson and six brothers, Lee, Harris, Edwin, Robert, Gerald and Raymond.
