STEVEN FITCH (1824-1885)
Known as "Uncle Steve" died at age 61-11-12 in Greenwood, Clark
county, Wis.,2/15/1885.

"Uncle Steve" Fitch was born in 1823 at Richmond, Lennox, Ontario,
Canada. He married Elizabeth E. Stoneburg, 6 Mar., 1862 in
Ameliasburg, Prince Edward, Ontario. She was born 31 Mar.
1823 at Ameliasburg, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada.
When Steven Fitch died at Greenwood, WI
in 1885, he was buried in the city cemetery there. His wife,
Elizabeth had died beforehand (bf. 1870) at Greenfield, Monroe,
Wisconsin.
