FRANZMEIER RITES HELD - December 1956
Services for Mrs. Paul Franzmeier 52, were conducted Thursday
afternoon at the Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed Church here.
Ofiiciants were the Res. Charles Koch, local pastor and the Rev.
Buerichter, New Albin, Iowa.
The Men's Chorus of the church sang "Abide With Me" and "Jesus is
Calling" with the organ accompaniment provide by Mrs. Alvin
Alberts. Pallbearers were Paul Elmer, Mr. Humke, Walter Decker,
Walter Schwarze and Kenneth Steiger. Burial was in the West Side
Cemetery.
Mrs. Franzmeier, the former Rose Humke, who has been residing in
Norwood, Minn., died of a lingering illness Dec. 10 at a Wacoma,
Minn. hospital. She was born in the town of Warner in Clark County
Sept 3, 1904. Out of town relatives and friends came from New
Albin, Iowa and California.
