Frese, Emmet (1908 - 1996)
Emmet (Slim) Frese, 88, Town of Reseburg, Rural Thorp, died
at his home, Sunday, May 19, 1996.
Slim was born February 29, 1908 in the Town of Reseburg the son of
John and Minerva Frese. He married Esther Jacques in the Town of
Reseburg. He lived in the Town of Reseburg all his life where he
farmed for many years.
Surviving are two daughters: JoAnn Dollen and Darlene Noah, both of
Thorp four sons: Robert (Corrine) Frese of Milwaukee, Larry (Doris)
Frese of Chelsea, Iowa, Jerry (Becky) Frese of Tomahawk, Terry
(Sharman) Frese of Thorp 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
and one sister Mabel Jewett of West Salem, Wis. He was preceded in
death by his parents, wife in 1942, 1 sister, 1 brother and 1
granddaughter.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 1996 at
Thorp Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lawrence Edson officiating.
Burial was in East Thorp Cemetery. Grandsons served as
pallbearers.
