Wesley Frome (1917 - 2001)
COLBY - Wesley L. Frome, 83, of Colby, died
April 21, 2001, at Colonial Center, Colby. Funeral services will be
held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby. Burial
will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at
the church.
The Maurina Funeral Home of Abbotsford is assisting the family with
arrangements.
Wesley was born July 20, 1917, in the town of Colby, Clark County,
to Louis and Hattie (nee Radke) Frome. He attended Colby schools.
He married Violet Koeppen, March 6, 1943, at Zion Lutheran Church,
Colby. She died June 14, 2000. The family farmed in the town of
Colby until 1990.
Wesley is survived by three sons, Dennis (Darlene) Frome of Colby;
Wayne (Pauline) Frome of Spencer; and Brian Frome of Colby; two
daughters, Barbara (Gene) Frane of Rhinelander; and Susan Frome of
Marshfield; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
