Raymond Gajda, 71, Lublin, Wis. died at his home Saturday, May 18, 1996, Town of Roosevelt, Rural Lublin.
Raymond was born August 6, 1924 at Lublin to Andrew and Mary
(Plazak) Gajda. He was a Veteran of World War II in the Army Air
Force. He was a Lt. Colonel of the Civil Air Patrol, Chippewa
Branch. He was a carpenter by trade. Ray was a member of Lublin
American Legion and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
Surviving are one son Gary of Lublin, 3 grandchildren and one
sister Helen Galarowicz of Owen. He was preceded in death by his
parents, one child, two sisters: Julia Cummings and Sophie Gac six
brothers: Mike, Casey, Ed, Joe, Paul and John.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 21, 1996, 10:30 a.m. with
father Brian Przyborowski officiating. Burial was in St. Stanislaus
Cemetery, with Military Rites by Lublin American Legion at the
graveside. Legionaires served as pallbearers.
