VERSCHAY RITES HELD AT St. Mary's
GREENWOOD


Services for Ana Verschay, 87, Greenwood, Clark County, were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Reverend Robert Houston conducted the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.


Mrs. Verschay died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on Saturday, April 10, 1976. The former Ana Dragosh was born in Austria, Hungary on May 3, 1888. Her marriage to John Verschay took place at Calumet, Michigan on Aug. 23, 1905. They moved to the Willard, Clark County area in 1914, where they farmed until 1948, moving then to the City of Greenwood.


Her husband, John preceded her in death June 19, 1968. Two brothers and a sister also preceded her in death.


She was a member of St. Mary's Church and St. Ann's Altar Society.


The following children survived her: Mrs. Paul (Anne) Meyer, San Jose, Calif. Mrs. Val (Marie) Jeras, Greenwood Mrs. Henry (Jean) Isaacson, Marshfield Mrs. Cecil (Christine) Anderson, Kansas City Mrs. Erwin (Kay) Grap, Greenwood John, Neillsville and Joe, Greenwood.


Pallbearers were Paul Meyer, Sam Grap, Henry Isaacson, William and Richard Verschay, and Duane Schaper.


Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
