MRS. HEMMINGER,
76
GREENWOOD--Mrs. Ivan E. Hemminger, 76, of Greenwood, Clark County died at 10 p.m. Monday Nov. 20, 1972, at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville following a stroke. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood.
The Rev. David E. Wenger, pastor, will officiate and interment will
take place in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood beginning
Friday at noon and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at the church.
The former Theoline Maria Windom was born May 28, 1896 in Melrose,
and was married to Ivan E. Hemminger July 1, 1922 at Neillsville.
The couple lived at Wilson for 10 years and then moved to the
Holcombe area, where they farmed for 38 years. The Hemmingers moved
to Greenwood two years ago.
Mrs. Hemminger was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the
American Lutheran Church Women.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, John,
Greenwood three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Maria) Breden, Salem Mrs.
John (June) Crank, Janesville, and Mrs. Russell (Betty) Sidden, Two
Rivers 19 grandchildren two great-grandchildren two brothers, Lindo
and Elmer Windom, both of Greenwood, and a sister, Miss Helen
Windom, of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters and three
grandchildren.
