DIED--Mrs. John Hertz. Minnie Glenzer


Died--at Sacred Heart hospital, Eau Claire, Oct. 19, Mrs. John Hertz. Minnie Glenzer was born in the town of Herman, Sheboygan county. In 1873, where she lived until four years of age when she came with her father, brothers and sisters here. Here she lived until united in marriage with John Hertz in 1893. After this four years were spent as landlady during her husband's proprietorship of the Colby House in the city of Colby. Four years ago they moved to Bright, where she has since resided until ten weeks ago, when she was taken to the Eau Claire hospital for an operation. A week ago Wednesday another operation was found necessary and as a result she died last Sunday. The deceased leaves a husband, two children, Edna aged three years and Irene aged eighteen months, three sisters, Mesdames H. Klemn, F. Stecker and J. Miller, and five brothers, Henry, John, Fred, Richard and August Glenzer, to mourn her loss. The remains were brought her and funeral held Wednesday, Oct. 22, from her old home, Rev. Bruenger officiating. The bereaved ones have the sincere sympathy of many friends.
