GEORGE HOEHNE

GREENWOOD--Services for George Hoehne, 70, of 119 N. Andrews Ave., Greenwood, Clark County, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion United Church of Christ. Mr. Hoehne was pronounced dead of an apparent heart attack upon arrival at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 1975 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Officiating will be the Rev. David Logue, pastor. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, after 2 p.m. today and at the church from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services. There will be a Masonic service at 8 tonight at the funeral home.

A lifetime resident of the Greenwood area, Mr. Hoehne was born here Feb. 5, 1905. He and his brother and father had operated a hardware store and also were engaged in the plumbing and heating business in Greenwood.

He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Greenwood Masonic Lodge 249, Neillsville Chapter No. 66 of the Royal Arch Masons, Neillsville Commandry No. 36 and Zor Shrine Temple.

Mr. Hoehne married the former Margaret Andrews on Dec. 18, 1932, at Greenwood. She survives.

Other survivors include three sons. John, Long Beach, Calif., Michael, Vienna, Va., and Jeffrey, Crested Butte, Colo. a brother, Julius, Greenwood two sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Ilma) Braatz, Crystal Lake, Ill., and Mrs. Nelda Dyre, Moorhead, Minn. and five grandchildren.

Hoehne, George (? - 1975)

Funeral services were to be held in Greenwood Tuesday for George Hoehne, 70, lifelong resident of that city who was widely known throughout the state for his activities in Masonic bodies.

Hoehne died Saturday afternoon of an apparent heart attack.

Throughout his active life he had operated a hardware store and plumbing and heating business in Greenwood in connection with his father and brother.

He was a member of the Greenwood Masonic Lodge, No. 249; the Neillsville Chapter, No. 66, R.A.M.; the Neillsville Commandry, No. 36, and Zor Shrine Temple.

Services were to be held from Rinka Funeral Home in Greenwood, with the Rev. David Logue in charge. Burial was to be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

A member of Zion United Church of Christ at Greenwood. Hoehne was married there December 18, 1932, to the former Margaret Andrews, who survives.
