DAVID HOLLOWELL


David Hollowell, 87, Greenwood, Clark County, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1991, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 1991, at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood. Rev. Ronald Stelzleni officiated.


Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery. Greenwood American Legion members served as pallbearers. Full military rites were accorded by the Greenwood American Legion.


David Hollowell was born Jan. 22, 1904, in Arden, Arkansas. He married Eva Herrick Feb. 22, 1946, in Reno, Nevada. She survives. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp for 25 years, retiring in California. They moved to Greenwood in 1976, where they had been residing since. He was a member of the Masons.


Survivors include his wife one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter in infancy one son, Floyd, two brothers and two sisters.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
