MRS. ANNA HORN


GREENWOOD--Services for Mrs. Anna Horn, 85, Greenwood, Clark County, will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Greenwood. Mrs. Horn died Sunday evening Apr. 25, 1982 at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.


Officiating will be the Rev. Alwyn York. Burial will be in the Braun Settlement Cemetery.


Pallberarers, all nephews, will be Lloyd, Gerald, Darrel and Donald Horn, DuWayne Venet and Jerry Kuester.


Friends may call after 3 P.M. today at the Rinka Funeral Home in Greenwood and from 10:30 A.M. Wednesday until time of services at the church.


The former Anna Woepse was born March 26, 1897 in the Town of Cleveland, Sheboygan County, to Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Johanna Schmidt) Woepse and received her education at the Braun Settlement School. She was married to Gustave Horn Oct. 18, 1916 at Greenwood. He died Dec. 25, 1964.


After their marriage they operated a farm in the Town of Warner until 1959, when their son took over its operation, but they continued to reside on the home farm.


She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ.


Survivors include two sons, Norman, Wausau, and Herbert, Greenwood a daughter, Mrs. Albern (Almira) Stanke, Rice Lake two sisters, Mrs. Mary Horn and Mrs. George (Eveline) Kuester, both of Greenwood a brother, Oscar Woepse, New Jersey five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.


She was predeceased by a brother, John.
