ARTHUR W. HORN
Arthur W. Horn, 68, of Aberdeen S.D., a
former resident of Greenwood, Clark County, died of a heart attack
Friday morning, Jan. 25, 1963, at his home in Aberdeen.
Mr. Horn, son of Robert and Christine (Braun) Horn, was born in the
Town of Longwood, Clark County, Aug. 18, 1894. He lived here until
he joined the army. After he received his discharge, he went to
Onaka, SD., in 1919 and farmed there until 1951, when he returned
to Greenwood and lived with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and
Mrs. George Poppe.
Shortly before his marriage to Agnes Nelson on Oct. 18, 1960 he
went to Aberdeen and had resided there since. He was a member of
the Immanuel United Church and the American Legion Posts in
Greenwood and Aberdeen.
A memorial service was held at Aberdeen Monday and the body arrived
here Tuesday at the Hill Funeral Home.
