MARY HORN
Mary Horn, 86, Route 3, Greenwood, died at
6:35 P.M., Monday, Jan. 1, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, 1990, at Immanuel
United Church of Christ, Greenwood. Friends may call at Rinka
Funeral Home, Greenwood, Wednesday, from 4 9 P.M. and Thursday
after 10 A.M. until time of service. Rev. John Tschudy will
officiated. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Serving as
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Donald Horn Jr. George Klahn, Daniel
Horn, David Vollrath, Dennis Vollrath, Douglas Vollrath and Rodney
Nachreiner.
Mary (Woepse) Horn was born April 2, 1903, in Manitowoc County,
Town of Meeime, to Henry and Johanna(Schmidt) Woepse. She received
her education at Braun Settlement School, Clark County, through the
8th grade. She was married to Henry Horn on Oct. 4, 1922 in
Greenwood. He died Jan. 11, 1979. They farmed all their life in the
town of Longwood, retiring in 1962. They continued to live in the
town of Longwood after retirement. She was a member of Immanuel
United Church of Christ, and it's Ladies Aid.
Survivors include two sons, Donald, Greenwood Lloyd, Greenwood one
daughter, Mrs. Verne (Laverne) Vollrath, Janesville one brother,
Oscar Woepse, Neptune, N.J. one sister, Mrs. George (Eveline)
Kuester, Greenwood ten grandchildren and 11
great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one son, Jerome,
one brother, John, one sister, Anna.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel United
Church of Christ, Greenwood.
Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood was in charge of arrangements.
