KATHRYN IVEY
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 14 at Grace United
Methodist Church for Kathryn Ivey, 92, Greenwood, Clark County. She
died Monday, Jan. 11, 1988, at 8:40 p.m. at Neillsville Memorial
Home.
Rev. Kevin Field officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony, with burial in
the Greenwood Cemetery. Relatives served as pallbearers.
Kathryn Fishel was born March 30, 1895, in Bloom City, Richland
County to Henry and Delilah (nee Borton) Fishel. She received her
education at Richland Normal School and State College at Eau
Claire. She was a teacher, and taught at schools in Richland and
Clark County, Maple Center and Longwood, and Uncle Sam's School. On
Sept. 8, 1919, she and Glen E. Ivey were married. He died July 3,
1947.
Ivey was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James of Burchwood, Wis., and Charles
of Eau Claire, and one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Lynn, San Jose, Cal.
nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding her in
death were her parents, her husband, one son, one brother and three
sisters.
Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, handled arrangements.
