H. Johnson Dies.
Word was received here Tuesday that H. Johnson had died at the home
of his brother at Eleva, Wis.
Mr. Johnson left here a number of weeks ago, being in poor health
at the time, to take up his home with relatives at Blair, Eleva and
Osseo. Although his death had been expected for some time his many
local friends still held out hopes for the best.
Mr. Johnson was a pioneer resident of Greenwood and was as well
liked and highly respected citizen. For many years he followed the
barber trade and was known to most everyone as Greenwood's Pioneer
Barber.
The body will be brought for burial. The funeral will undoubtedly be
Friday.
An obituary will be published in next week's Gleaner.
