ALBERT MEYER DIES SUDDENLY LAST WEEK
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 22 at St. Anthony's
Catholic Church of Albert C. Meyer, 83, 217 E. Central St., Loyal,
Clark County.
The Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements with burial in
St. Anthony's Cemetery, with Rev. Chester Osowski in charge.
Mr. Meyer passed away Thursday, May 20, 1976 around 5:30 p.m. He
was taken to the Neillsville Hospital by the Loyal Ambulance
Service and was pronounced dead on arrival.
Albert Meyer was born April 29, 1893 in Clark County, the son of
Charles and Anna Meyer.
He was married on Jan. 23, 1917 to Mathilda Newhouse at Ladysmith.
After their marriage they moved to Heintown, where they farmed for
30 years. He moved to the City of Loyal in 1947 and had been
employed since by the United Building Center. In 1967 the couple
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife, Mathilda, three daughters, Miss Maryann
Meyer, Milwaukee Mrs. Lawrence (Isabelle) Glinski, Sheboygan and
Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Dumler of Spencer two sisters, Mrs. Julia
Newhouse, Green Bay and Miss Betty Meyer, Milwaukee 13
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his parents and three brothers.
