JOHN KALTINGER.


John Edward Kaltinger, 84, Greenwood, Clark County, Wisconsin, died Monday, June 3, 1991, at his home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 1991, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, Rev. James Lesczynski officiated and burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.


Full military rites were accorded. Pallbearers were George Plautz, Joe Plautz, Joe Plautz, Tony Rychnovsky, Larry Krainz, Robert Krainz and Ed Bogdonovich.


John Edward Kaltinger was born Oct. 18, 1906, in Salt Lake City, Utah to John and Mry (nee Cadez) Kaltinger. He received his education at Gorman School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 - 1945. He married Antonia Krainz Aug. 26, 1944, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. He was self-employed as a carpenter until he retired in 1980 and continued living in the City of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his wife in January 1990. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Greenwood American Legion.


Survivors include two brothers, Rudolph Kaltinger, Lombard, Ill., and Alvin Kaltinger, Willard four sisters, Mrs. Ella Langner, Chicago, Ill Mrs. Josephine Mihottis, Bensenville, Ill. Mrs. Louise Morgal, Houston, Texas and Mrs. Lillian Sohlberg, Brainerd, Minn.


He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and one sister. Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
