Marian Helen Klewicki, 70, Thorp, WI, died Thursday, June 17, 1999 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Marian was born in Thorp, WI on September 22, 1928 the daughter of
John and Mary (Jarocki) Romanowicz. She grew up in the Thorp area
and attended area schools. On November 15, 1944 she married Bernard
Klewicki at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Stanley, WI. They lived
in the Town of Thorp since. Bernard preceded her in death in
1993.
Marian was a Licensed Practical Nurse, working at Victory Medical
Center for over 47 years. She retired in 1994, but continued
working part-time. She was active at St. Mary's Czestochowa Parish,
enjoyed playing cards and had a great love for her family and
friends.
She is survived by two sons: Gary (Bernelle) of Whitehall, WI,
Jeffrey (Kathy) of Stanley, WI three daughters: Lori (Steve) McNew
of Portland, OR, Tammy (Philip) Bodamer of Dresser, WI and Judy
Klewicki of Phoenix, AZ and 7 grandchildren. Also by two brothers:
Edward Roman of Washington and Vic (Pauline) Roman of Idaho one
sister Joan (John) Schneider of Park Falls, WI and special friends,
Rhonda Holte of Stanley, WI.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 21, 1999, 10:30 a.m. at
St. Mary's Czestochowa Catholic Church, rural Stanley, WI with
Father John Puerner officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's
Czestochowa Cemetery. Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday
at Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, WI with a parish rosary at 7:30
p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers were: Ryan
Pope, Nikki and Paul Bodamer, Philip Bodamer, Randy Ciolkosz and
Darrel Friedel.
