MRS. F. J. KLINKE ANSWERS CALL

Catherine Klinke was born in Austria, Nov. 25, 1856, where she spent her girlhood. She was married at Neillsville, Clark County, to F. J. Kinke over forty years ago, where they resided for some time, moving to Greenwood over twenty six years ago.

She was taken ill on Saturday Sept. 3rd and died Wednesday evening, Sept. 7th, 1921. The cause of her death was rupture and a complication of other diseases.

Her life was gentle, but like the still waters, it was deep. In her heart she craved those she loved and her hand was never weary, her step never faltered in ministering unto, caring for and waiting upon those who were in any way dependent upon her.
Surviving are four children, J. F. Klinke, Edward Klinke and Miss Helen Klinke of Greenwood and Mrs. Arthur Barton of Christie. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church last Saturday forenoon, Rev. Achtlich officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.

Relatives from away who were here to attend the funeral were, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Klinke and Mr. and Mrs. James Klinke of West Bend and Mr. John Klinke of Wallace, Michigan.
