Konczak, Paul (1920 - 1999)

Paul P. Konczak, 78, Thorp, WI, died Monday, January 25, 1999 at his home.

Paul was born July 5, 1920 in Lublin to Jacob and Mary (Michalak) Konczak. He was a veteran of World War II Army and received the Purple Heart award. He worked as a sheet metal worker for Binks Manufacturing in Chicago. Paul was a resident of Thorp for the last 8 years.

Surviving are one son Paul Jr. of McHenry, IL, and one daughter, Debbie Burns of Carpenterville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Lottie in June of 1988.

Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 30, 1999 in Chicago. Thorp Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
