Konsella, Ann (1912 - 1999)

Ann Konsella, 86, Gilman, WI, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999 at Zastrow Care Center, Gilman, WI.

Ann was born June 27, 1912 at Kimball, SD to Patrick and Anna (Tooney) Shortell. The family moved to Southern Wisconsin then in 1919 they moved to a farm in the Thorp, WI area. She was married to August Konsella on September 4, 1935 at St. Mary's Church in Stanley, WI. In 1936 they moved to a farm in the Town of Cleveland in Taylor County where they farm and lived for many years.

Survivors include brother, Vernon Shortell of King, WI and many nices and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband August May 18, 1982 4 brothers: John, Dale, Frank, Alvin and 3 sisters: Marjorie Konsella, Eleanor Shortell and Lillian Olson.

A funeral service was held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Stanley, Saturday, May 15, 1999, 11:00 a.m. with Father Robert Nelson officiating. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery, Stanley. Visitation was from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Gilman Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. Saturday till service time at Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, WI.
