ERNEST KRIESSIG, 64, DIES IN GREENWOOD
HEART ATTACK CAUSES SUDDEN DEATH MONDAY NIGHT FUNERAL FRIDAY


Greenwood--Ernest Kriessig, 64, a farmer in the Town of Warner, Clark County, died Monday evening, Jan. 20, 1941, at his home, 9 1/2 miles north of Greenwood. He was found Tuesday by his son-in-law, Harry Welch.


Mr. Kriessig was born in Germany Dec. 5, 1876, and came to the United States with his parents when he was eight years old. He lived for a short time in Sheboygan before going to Greenwood.


His marriage to Louise Dary took place in Greenwood in June 1907. Mrs. Kriessig died in November, 1934.


Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Grace Methodist Church, Greenwood. the Rev. A. J. Abbott officiating. Interment will take place in Braun Settlement cemetery.


Pallbearers will be Henry Goetsch, William Miller, George Burker, Alvin Brick, and Adolph and Ed Geisler.


Surviving are two daughters, Hilda, Town of Mead, and Mrs. Harry (Ella) Welch, Town of Warner, and one sister, Mrs. William Schlinsog, Town of Mead. A daughter, Helen died in infancy.
