OBITUARY OF MRS. JOHN KROKSON
Word was received here Friday of the death of Mrs. John Krokson, a
former resident of this community.
Ingred Johnsons was born in Sweden, May 20, 1851. She was united in
marriage to John Krokson when she was 19 years of age. In 1892 she
came to America with her children, Mr. Krokson having come to this
country a few years sooner. Since 1892 until 1914 she resided here
(Greenwood, Clark County). Her health began failing and she then
went to Minneapolis to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Clara
Borseth. Here she passed away in death Friday Dec. 30, 1927.
Deceased was the mother of ten children, two boys and one girl
preceding her in death. Her husband also died several years ago.
The following children survive to mourn the loss of a kind and
loving mother: Mrs. Clara Borseth of Minneapolis, Axel of Cornell,
Wis., Fred and Oscar of Minneapolis, and Victor, Ernest and Morris
of Greenwood.
The body was brought here for burial. Funeral services were held
from the united Lutheran Church Monday afternoon, Rev. M.K Aaberg
officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Deceased was well known to most of our readers. She was a very good
woman and a loving wife and mother. She reached the age of 76
years, 7 months and 10 days. May she rest in peace.
