CHARLES LANDBERG DIES.


Greenwood--Charles Landberg, 71, died at his home 5 miles northeast of here Thursday at 7 a.m. Death was attributed to complications of old age.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the United Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Theodore Wilson will officiate and burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery. The body will lie in state at Schiller's Funeral Home until the time of the services.


Mr. Landberg was born Nov. 27, 1878, in Sweden. The family moved to Greenwood from Benton Harbor, Mich., 20 years ago.


Mr. Landberg is survived by tow sons, Andrew and Wendell, at home, and a daughter, Vivian, Chicago. His wife preceded him in death on Jan. 4, 1949.


LANDBERG RITES HELD TUESDAY.


Greenwood--Services for Charles Landberg, 71, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the United Lutheran Church. He died at his home 5 miles northeast of Greenwood of a heart attack Thursday.


Burial was made in the Greenwood cemetery, the Rev. Theodore Nelson officiating.


Pallbearers were Ernest Elmer, Arendt Danielson, Ervin Rossow, Haakon Ystad, Carl Turnquist, and Delmand Johnson.


Mrs. Albert Dahl and Mrs. Louis Behrens sang "In the Garden," and "Jesus Near the Cross." Mrs. Don Warner accompanied on the organ.


A daughter, Miss Vivian Landberg, Chicago, attended the rites.
