OBITUARY MENTION
Clarence Larson whose death from typhoid
fever occurred at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, June 30, was born
on the farm of his father, Anton Larson, two miles northeast of
town, Nov. 1, 1877. ,making him only about twenty-six years of age
at the time of his decease.
Since growing to manhood he has worked industriously both at home
and in the woods farther north. It was while working at Rib Lake
that he was taken with the disease which proved fatal. He also
owned the forty acres just east of Rock creek, having bought it
from John Severson last year.
Mr. Larson was married about five months ago to Miss Lillian Page
of Rib Lake, who is thus early left a widow, but who will share the
sympathy and comfort of true friends in this time of
bereavement.
The funeral occurred from the home of his father at two o'clock
Friday afternoon, Revs. W. T. Hendren and A. B. Dyre
officiating.
Interment took place in the Greenwood
cemetery. The pall bearers were former school mates and associates
of deceased, they being Carl and Ole Christopherson, Andrew, Henry
and John Olson and Emil Kolstad.
