Emily Lucht (1918 - 2001)


LOYAL--Emily E. Lucht, 82, of Altoona, formerly of Loyal, died at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home, in Altoona, on Sunday, April 22, 2001 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. The Rev. Daniel Zimmerman will officiate, and burial will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery.


Visitation will be at Cuddie Funeral Home, in Loyal, on Tuesday, April 24, from 4-8 p.m., and at the church on Wednesday, April 25, from 10 a.m. until time of service.


Emily Elizabeth Augusta Bredlau was born on July 20, 1918, in the town of Sherman to Emil A. and Marie E. (Bleuer) Bredlau. She and her husband farmed until they retired in 1979.


She is survived by her two daughters: Karin Hill of Eau Claire, and Kathleen (Art) Petke Jr. of Withee


four sisters: Lucille Wirtz of Mallard, Iowa, Esther Fredrick of Marshfield, Dorothy (Joe) Lauby of Denver, and Arlene Barker of Adams four brothers: Robert (Marcie) Bredlau of Owen, Harry Pat (Shirley) Bredlau of Madison, Gerald Jerry (Janet) Bredlau of Rice Lake, and John (Elaine) Bredlau of Manistique, Mich. four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
