OBITUARY LYON--Lyon, Anna L. (1855 - 1919)

 
Anna L. Darling was born at New Lisbon, Wis., on the 28th day of Oct., 1855. She was married to James Wilbur Lyon at Pine Valley, Wis., on the 8th day of Dec., 1872. Mrs. Lyon came to this Home on the 20th day of Nov., 1912, and passed away at her room in the Hospital on the 17th day of Dec., 1919, at the age of sixty four years, one month and twenty one days. Mrs. Lyon is survived by one son and two daughters Percy R. Lyon of Missoula, Mont Mrs. Millie Francis, Greenwood, Wis. Mrs. Iva Kosmatka, residence unknown. There are also four grandchildren and one brother, Merrill Darling, wife and daughter, all of Wisconsin Veterans Home. Funeral services were held in the Home Chapel on Thursday, Dec. 18th, at one o'clock, conducted by Chaplain E. B. Earle. Present from away, Mrs. Millie Francis of Greenwood, Wis.


Mrs. Lyon was well known in and around Greenwood, Clark County, having resided here all her life before going to Waupaca. She was also a member of the Circle.
