Death of Lawrence Matson

Lawrence Matson, residing one and one-half miles west of the village of Withee, died this morning at 2 o'clock following an illness of two days with heart failure. Mr. Matson has been a resident of the town of Hixon about a year, and prior to moving to his farm west of the village lived southwest of Withee, in the town of Longwood. He is an old settler of this vicinity and had a great many friends and acquaintances all of who regret his untimely death. He was about sixty years of age and leaves a wife and eight children, five of whom make Withee their home. Arrangements for the funeral are not now complete so the Enterprise cannot make any announcements.
