HOME GLEANINGS.

Word was received here Tuesday announcing the death of Mr. Gottlieb Meinholdt early that morning at the asylum at West Salem, where she has been confined for several years past. She would have been sixty-nine years old coming May. She had been failing for some months, though the end came suddenly, the immediate relatives having received no word of unusual symptoms. Theodore Meinholdt, the oldest son, went down Wednesday morning to bring the remains to Greenwood for burial, the funeral probably occurring today or tomorrow.
