LINDA NABBEFELD (1952 - 2000)

 
Linda M. NABBEFELD, 47, of Rice Lake passed away Thursday, February 24, 2000, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

She was born June 23, 1952, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Crystal (LESTER) and Edwin TRACY. She grew up in Cadott, where she graduated from Cadott High School in 1970.

Linda married George H. NABBEFELD on October 27, 1973, in Chippewa Falls. She had worked for the past nine years at the Northern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled in Chippewa Falls.

Survivors include her husband two daughters, Stacey (fianc Michael Sowiak) JENSEN of Plover and Jennifer NABBEFELD of Laurel, MD her son, Alan NABBEFELD of Cadott her father, Edwin TRACY of the Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls a sister, Ruth (Robert) WILLGER of Rice Lake a brother, Lester (Sandy) TRACY of Augusta several nieces and nephews two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

A funeral service was held Monday, February 28, at the Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Arlo Little of the Salem Baptist Church of Eau Claire officiated. Spring interment will be in the Bateman Cemetery in the Town of Lafayette.

Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
