FORMER GREENWOOD RESIDENT PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Arleigh (Eva) Olson, 61, of Blanchardville, died on Saturday,
Sept. 4, 1976, at Methodist Hospital in Madison after a lingering
illness.
She was born in Greenwood, Clark County, on April 23, 1915, and
received her education in Greenwood area schools. She was married
on Sept. 20, 1935, to Arleigh Olson. They lived in Greenwood for
one year and then moved to Blanchardville, where they have lived
ever since.
Survivors include her husband and six daughters, Mrs. Orlin
(Patricia) Mandsager of Decorah, Iowa Mrs. Christian (Deanna) Torn,
Mrs. Vivian (Karen) Ingwell, Mrs. Dale (Nancy) Anderson and
Kristine Olson, all of Blanchardville, and Arlene Olson of South
Gate, Calif. a brother, Delbert Miller of Edgerton, Wis. and 11
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Miller, and by a
brother, Donald.
Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 8, in the Blanchardville
Lutheran Church, with Rev. Wayne Hendrickson officiating.
Attending the funeral from Greenwood were Mrs. Harvey Heck, Mrs.
Chuck Suda, Mrs. Don Noeldner and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson,
Greenwood, and Mrs. Thone Karntiz of Neillsville.
